You Are My Happy | Inspiration

Hi there, happy first day of May!! It's Vee here to share a layout with you made with products from Evalicious' newest release. I love the new stamps, updated badges, tags and labels.  I took this photo of my daughter one morning before school after the holidays. She was excited to get back to school after her winter break.  I embossed the you are my happy stamp to give the layout more texture and to tie in the pink/red hue her of sweater with the rest of the layout.

I love combining various colors together when making layouts, on this page I used a light patten background with a darker anchoring pattern paper.  It is fun to mix colors and  patterns, if you are unsure of what color to use, a color wheel  is the perfect tool to help you choose what colors go together best.  A color wheel can be purchased at any craft store in the art section.

A detailed photo of my embossing on the stamped title. The polka dot paper is a 6x6 piece of paper that I cut unevenly to give the vertical illusion of a larger piece of paper.

I love creating with paint and overlapped some paint on the torn edge of the darker pattern paper. I stamped on top of the painted edge once it was dry.  I  love the  gradient of yellow peeking thru.
