Project Life with Evalicious Goodies | Inspiration

I admit it... I resisted jumping onto the Project Life wagon for a long time.  What if I couldn't take a photo every day?  What if my life turned out to be super boring?  How would I be able to focus on the big events AND the everyday?  And the biggest fear... how could I make Project Life fit my lumpy-bumpy scrappy style???

After seeing a good friend do Project Life and still stay true to her style, I was convinced.  But still sort of stuck.  Then I read this hilarious blog post by Christine {listgirl}.  Well, it turns out that there are really no rules.  The Project Life police are really not coming over.  Ever.  And when I saw the shopEvalicious.com goodies that were coming our way - *now* I was ready!

So here is how I am doing Project Life:  my style, my size, and whatever is grabbing me at the time.  I'm working on 2010 and forward in this format (and still mixing in traditional layouts).  And you know what?  I'm having FUN.  A LOT OF FUN.  And that's probably the best part.  *big smiles*

February 2010:  Confession time.  I don't like scrapping birthdays.  I don't know why but I don't.  But guess what?  Doing it this way was easier for me!  *fist pump*  And even better?  The Evalicious goodies I used can be used on *any* type of layout, not just birthday ones.  Evalicious goodies:  Dennison labels, Please Take Note kraft tags, Say Cheese badge buttons
March 2010:  These are the only "random" pictures I have for this month.  And that's okay.  I'm cool with that.  And I'm also digging that Evalicious products just seem to match all the paper and pictures I have.  They just *work* with everything!  Evalicious goodies:  So Daily bundle
December 2012:  More confession time... I don't like scrapping Christmas either.  I don't know why.  I adore presents and food, so it really doesn't make sense does it?  But again, scrapping like this really helped because I took a few photos that summarized the day, sprinkled in some Christmas tags & extras, and wrote the rest.  Evalicious goodies:  This Christmas bundle
December 2012:  More Christmas pictures (we had 4 Christmases last year).  Can I just say again how much I love scrapping like this?  And the Evalicious large tags make journaling so easy.  Evalicious goodies:  This Christmas bundle
January 2013:  Typical days... captured.  And that cookie recipe?  The best.  EVER.  I wouldn't have thought about capturing the weather but that little Evalicious tag reminded me... hey, it's cold.  Why not document it?  Evalicious goodies:  Documented snip-snip mini labels, So Daily bundle
January 2013:  A different page protector - this one is turning out to be more versatile than I thought it would be.  I can crop down not-so-good photos, print others in wallet size, and still use big photos - the tip-off photo is a 5x7!  Love using those Evalicious labels as mini title blocks (which seem to match every alpha I own!).  Evalicious goodies:  Real Life bundle
February 2013:  Who knew a smashed bottle cap and bits of pieces from my stash would be making it into my Project Life pages?  I love that I'm using the "stuff" I collect as well as (slowly, so very slowly) reducing my stash.  And I know I already said it, but I'll say it again:  these Evalicious large tags are AWESOME for journaling on.  Buy one of every kind.  You won't regret it!  Evalicious goodies:  My Week bundle
Feeling inspired to dive into some great Evalicious products?  Well, when you do, don't forget to post your work in our Evalicious Flickr pool here. We will be selecting a project that catches our eyes every few weeks and award the artist with a gift card code to spend in the shop!

P.S.  Shop links will be active on March 4th!
