Here are the main materials I used for my gift wrap.
Evalicious products:
- Love You Lots badges
- Love You Lots snipsnap labels
- Love You Lots miscellany tags
- love arrow stamp
I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the template for the gift box. I would definitely recommend using a heavier weight of vellum or keeping the box small. Listed below are some cut files for gift boxes from the Silhouette Online Store. If you do not have or want to use a die-cutting machine, there's a great tutorial on how to make a vellum giftbox here.
Cuts from Silhouette Store:
- gift bag (I used this one without the panel)
- pillow box
- pyramid box
I started by embellishing a tag for the main focus of the gift box. I used a strip of washi tape and added a "Love You Lots" label. The "open this" badge from "Love You Lots" was the perfect finishing touch. At the top, I added an alphabet sticker for the initial of the recipient.
To add some extra dimension, I hand-cut some banner shapes from scraps of patterned paper and vellum. I stamped out the love arrow to add a different shape. Other layers you can add are different sized/colored tags, a small glassine bag filled with confetti, or other material like a piece of burlap. The size of my gift box was quite small, so I tried to stick with lighter elements.
After hole-punching each piece, I used a piece of red/white twine to tie the box and tags together.
For the glassine bag, I simply used one of the "Love You Lots" miscellany tags and machine-stitched (not so neatly, whoops!) over the top with a contrasting color. It's an easy way to dress up a bag of candy. I hope this tutorial gave you some ideas for incorporating Evalicious goodies into your gift wrapping!
