seen this guy around? he's wanted by my daughter. LOL. i guess it's nobody's fault but ours because we started this craze for her. she's got a ton of stuff with him on it. can't take a nap without her elmo stuffie. she loves to make us drawn him. usually it's on paper but tonight it's on my bamboo tablet while i'm trying to get some work done. oh boy. it didn't end well. she cried and cried when her baba came to take her for her bath. that was my saturday night :P

guess what?
i've listed the majority of items for the shop update (for viewing only) - it's only missing the christmas stuff (this christmas collection, the art journal, the embellies kit) and a new Evalicious faves kit.
i couldn't help adding some non-scrapbooking items also:
photograpHER magnets for those who love the photography junkie badge button set
photograpHER keychains - i'm so super excited about these. they're super cute!!
this christmas magnets - the badge button version is included in this year's art journal kit and embellies kit.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and here's some sample pages i just made using the new goods - enjoy!
a journal entry in my remember art journal using a new badge button & page tab (life/this is so daily) from the new "SO DAILY" collection - to be in shop tomorrow. the kraft page background is upcycled Prima packaging material that i sewed a small glassine envelope onto (included in the book). it makes working in these journals super easy and fast.
not sure if i shared this page before but here it is again if i have. i added a new badge button on it (also from the SO DAILY collection; this one is part of V2). page tab can be found here.
can't wait until tomorrow - hope to see you!

around here
cutting away - pages for the christmas art journals, packaging material, images for badge buttons, etc.
the computer desk is a mess. with sample buttons galore!
munchkin constantly climbing onto the swivel chair whether i'm on it or not and repeatedly saying, "i wanna help mama." help me alright - help me make a mess! LOL.
a little sneak at some badge button sets (on left is V1 of 3 badge button sets that's part of the fall PL collection, beside it is a "love my cat" badges - yes, i made a dog one too!, beside that is the school's cool badge button set). On the far right is the school's in page tab set.
some stamped tags to be sewn onto a page of the christmas art journal.
what's going on around your place?

just love this time of year. there's just something about the cool breezy air and the change in nature's colours that makes me feel all warm and cozy. BIG LOVE. i love thinking of things to make as gifts with the upcoming holidays (halloween, thanksgiving, CHRISTMAS). while new ideas are still being dreamt up - here's an old one:
an altered canvas
a mini book with simple items you have around the house & your sb stash
an elegant glass frame from the dollar store
i was going through my shop listings and thinking to myself that i need to clean it up a little and retire more items. ran into the Evalicious Gift Ideas tutorial [thank you so much for those who supported by purchasing this file]. it's had its moment and will be retiring and living happily in my harddrive. but for a limited time, you can download it here for free [only catch? be a follower of this blog if you aren't already & leave me a comment on what you love about this time of year]. a big thank you to you for following this blog.

I've also been thinking about putting together a design team so that we can get a little more inspiration around here.
