Actual front cover is Hambly heavy overlay. Make sure you peel off the 2 protective layers to reveal the clear acrylic.
On the right side is a double sided grid tag with a sewn punched out airplan. You can journal on it or add a photo.
More faux instax photos:). Right page is made of a page from a vintage postage stamp book and white cardstock sewn together. Use the fun washi tape sample strips to make it look like it's holding down your photos (I would still use adhesive to adhere photos to make sure it doesn't fall off - I use my washi tape for decorative purposes only).
Add momento directly to your journal by trimming it to size if needed and punching holes in them.
Add photo onto your momento pieces if there's room such as page on left.
A badge holder on right for you to add a mini photo or paper with your journaling.
Collect business cards of places you've visited and trim out the logo to use as embellishment on your page.

Have a journal made for up-coming trip. I had forgotten about shooting room. Think we will be in new room each night. LOL It is a history tour of Civil War sites and Indian information. Certainly will be following your journal.

Oh my goodness! I thought I was excited before but now I absolutely can't wait to get my travel journal! Really great ideas. I may have to print out your posts to take on our trip!
I'm hoping there will be a second coming of the Destination Travel Journal - I missed it and it's sold out! Drat!
