trying something new

Decided to use other photos too besides the ones taken by Rae so I did my collage photo prints again (to save money and because it just fits the 4x6 size journal size better). Myelle was content with doing her yoga poses in her crib on Saturday so I cut up all the mini photos and started adhering them randomly in the journal. Instead of humming and hahhing over which photo to use on which page. Since the whole book is a mishmash of reasons why I love Eddie and I'm not documenting anything in any particular order - I just wanted to get the journaling in there.

Did this in less than half an hour including setting up on the floor and fiddling. The book is almost all done already by Saturday night - in just 2 hours. I knew what I wanted to write about when I selected each photo so the journaling didn't take long at all. I'm loving how it feels in my hands so far - absolutely precious! Will share the completed album in a few days:).

BTW - I decided I'll make a few more of these albums but they will be available after Valentines and will be just a general love theme. Still great to tell that special someone how much they mean to you but maybe for an anniversary instead?
