For Today...October 20

Inspired by Ali Edwards' blog entry on Oct 16 and The Simple Woman's Day Book.

Outside my window...it's pretty much pitch black at 7pm.

I am thinking...about when my next episode of nausea is gonna return.

I am thankful for...the nausea (pretty silly) but at least it means the baby's still around.

I am wearing...comfy pj pants that my MIL got me one Christmas, a Canada tshirt and an old hoodie. A bra is a must these days right up to before getting into bed;).

I am remembering...how good it felt just a few weeks ago when there was no nausea:).

I am going...to get back to cutting felt circles as soon as I finish this entry. So far behind on my Christmas stuff - it's not funny.

I am reading...Dr. Miriam Stoppard's New Pregnancy and Birth Book.

I am hoping...me feeling crappy will really go away like everyone says it will pretty soon.

I am creating...Christmas embellishments for my shop at the moment (or at least trying to).

On my mind...should I continue with Bikram yoga? Went back a few times this week but not sure if it's making the nausea a bit worse because it's physically too draining for me at the moment. So undecided.

From the kitchen...nothing cooking there. Just a mess that I made from eating throughout the day (leftovers and misc stuff that Eddie bought for me) and not having the energy to clean it up.

Around the house...it's pretty much quiet. Eddie's gone out. The computer's humming. Mylo's taking a nap.

One of my favorite things...my rearranged studio:).

A few plans for the rest of the week...feel well enough to go back to the other job, call my GP for my first OBGYN appointment, work on more Christmas stuff, ?check out a prenatal yoga class in Whiterock.

A photo to share...

Food that's been collected over the last few days. The sight of some of this stuff already makes me sick and therefore not helping the cause. Oh the joys of pregnancy;).

***************

Thank you so much for all your well wishes and advice. As you can see, when I feeling 'not too bad' today, I went out to pick up a few more things to add to my stash. But I don't think anything is really helping all that much. Just gotta tough it out!

  1. I love it! I think I may "steal" this too! I just put the finishing touches on my pamphlet stitch mini-book and I love it! Thank you again! I had a few pictures (maybe 20) from a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach we did back in August and I couldn't figure out what to do with them so I made a larger book and it worked perfectly!

I hope you feel better soon!

  6. Best of luck! Hope you feel better soon. Have you tried Coca Cola? Can't be diet...there's something in the regular Coke that helps nausea. In small doses it does wonders!

  7. Congratulations! My first pregnancy I stayed nauseated the first trimester, but seriously it went away the day before the second trimester began (jk). Saltine crackers and gingerale helped. Be good to yourself.
